Most Reliable Tyre

I have used other brands of tyres,but I find that Conti. 4000S is a good alround tyre.I race and train on them and rarely get a puncture

Excellent tyres for training and racing, the 25 mm width gives a lot of comfort on harsh roads, and increased grip in the wet. Great value too.

Continental GP4000S II

I rode the full season with lots of races. Only one well deserved flat this year which is remarkable considering I would usually get 6 or more with past tires. Also the tires have worn well and I would usually be onto a second set by the end of the season, but they are still going. Great performing and very predictable tires.

Great tires for Racing not commute

Great tires for smooth surface area and cornering. Not good for commute with road construction and debris. Went through TWO tires already. One with sidewall damage and the other sliced bottom. Both had less than 300 miles. Cant use the one that's sliced since inner tube sticks out although the one with sidewall damaged is still being used since I stuck a dollar bill to prevent the inner tube to stick out ( probably not recommended but it works)

Sold forever

Had these tyres couple of years ago and as the LBS ran specialized decided to give them a go... but few too many punctures so changed to these and trialled the 25mm as I ride a very stiff Canondale Super Evo....So far the comfort factor is definitely noticeable which has improved the quality of the ride....for the price cannot go wrong. Came to Australia within a fortnight on standard shipping....these were easy to put on my Ksyrium SLRs. Will stick to these tyres from now on.
