my 2nd pair
5absolutely love these bibs. very comfortable and great quality. i'm 6'3" 160lbs at the beginning of the season and XL is the way to go for me. had one pair in L before but the straps were too tight. so it seems like sizing up is the way to go.

Very comfy knicks
5This is my 7th pair of Castelli knicks and the 6th with the Progetto X2 seat pad. They are the most comfortable pair of bib knicks I've owned and will continue to purchase in the future. Oldest pair is around 5 years old and the elastic has worn out, but still comfortable. Great deals on these knicks at the moment...

So far so good
4Have done a couple of moderate rides in these so far, only about 2.5 hours max though, so nothing that really puts them to the test. So far, I rate them pretty highly. The chamois is comfortable, and doesn't chafe. Leg length is good, and I like the grippiness at the bottom of the legs too so they don't ride up. Downside is the straps are too thin, and as usual Castelli's sizing is crazy small. I'm 6'1", around 190lbs and bought the xl, but the straps are just a tad too short.

Bib shorts
3Went for the next size up (large) which ever one advised and the shorts are prefect but the elastic over the shoulders is ridiculously and uncomfortably tight, I’m average 5’10” height. So if you have average thighs, 30” waist and 5’5” high they would be prefect !!

5This is the second pair of shorts Castelli free aero shorts I have purchased. I am 5’11”, 172lbs and the large fits me well. I find them very comfortable even on long rides.

180cm and 78 kg = XL
5I am a huge fan of the top brands, but you have to be aware of their sizings. It is frustrating but its the way it is. The grear is top quality, comfortable, washes well and looks the business. You just have to know your size in their chart.

Poor quality
3I bought these Castelli bibs this year, wore them 5x max, and there are tears in each suspenders. For the price, I'm really disappointed.

Really good quality bib shorts!
5These bib shorts feel super good quality and the fit is amazing. I ordered a size L following Castelli's size guide, but I had to return them and order a size XL because they were very tight, especially the straps weren't long enough (I am 6ft). Other than that it feels perfect, the padding has been really comfortable from the first ride.
