Best jersey ever

Buy one... just buy one! Never been a fan of winter cycling as I've never really had decent kit. Read reviews about this jersey and tentatively purchased. Well what can I say?! A number of wet/cold/windy miserable rides later and I am blown away (excuse the pun) by the quality and performance. Order a size up as per the laws of Castelli, and sub 10°C wear with a base layer and you'll never feel cold. Even a strong wind won't get in leaving you warm. My previous garments have always made me feel sweaty and in turn will make you colder, whereas the Gabba2 breathes extremely well leaving you virtually moisture free. In heavy rain I advise a light she'll as I am sure it's not completely waterproof, just to keep the worst of you. However in showery conditions it holds up well. If you want to get out and enjoy the winter conditions then I strongly advise buying this jersey.

The best!

This is my second Gabba purchase after racing a full season in the short sleeved version I needed something for the even colder conditions. I rate the short sleeved Gabba very highly and is my go-to jersey for all race days when the weather is changeable. I am glad to report that the updated long sleeved Gabba is just as great. Perfect for early and late season, keeps you dry and warm in all but torrential rainfall. The fit is close but true to size which also makes for a great racing top as no loose material flapping around in the wind. A must for all racers and general bikers who enjoy being warm and dry when the weather takes a turn for the worse, which in this country is quite often!

This jersey does all it says. I' ve had multiple training sessions from 1hr up to 3hrs in the foul weather we are having. It kept me warm and dry inside and out including high tempo and Threshold training. The fit is nice and snug so no annoying flapping or drafts. Very good product I would advise getting one and I would buy another if this one disappeared.

Great jacket...ideal for late autumn early winter rides. Italian fit though so check sizing.

Best all season jacket

if it's summer this keeps you covered and cool, if it's winter it keeps you warm and protected... I'm not sure what the material is but this is by far the best piece of kit I've ever owned :-)

So far, so good. This jersey is perfect for rides in the mid 30's F ( 1C) to the mid 50's (13C). The back of the jersey vents extremely well as do the underarms. So far I have just tried this with a sleeveless base layer and it does a great job of retaining enough of your body heat to keep you comfortable. If you plan to ride below 35F you may want to consider adding a thermal base layer. I am 5'11" and 172 pounds and went with a size large. The body and arms fit well but the arms are a little long. I have not had a chance to test it in wet weather so I can't vouch for how it will do in the rain. This is definitely going to be my "go to" piece of kit for the cool morning starts that warm up by the end.

Best piece of kit I've got

Castelli gear is always top drawer, however not cheap. But in this case the price is well worth spending! Warm, waterproof and very wind proof. Best piece of kit out there at the minute in my opinion.
