Good Wheels

Having them for two weeks. Use them as replacement of previous Fulcrum racing 77. Same brand, similar feeling. The biggest difference is the smoothness of rear hub on racing quattro lg.

Fulcrum racing quattro LG Clincher

I got these after the bearings went in my standard edition Giant SR2s. So far so good. Arrived to Ireland within 5 working days. Took them to the LBS top get fitted. Everything was in perfect condition according to the mechanic. I have noticed a smoother ride and easier climbing so far, but It is still early days. I am very happy with the upgrade and for the price I got them for from Pro-Bike.

Fulcrum wheels

Having spoken to lots of people about upgrading my bike everyone suggested wheels. These wheels were excellent. Actually made a significant difference to my rides.

Spin them up

5

I wanted some value Aero wheels as I am not the most powerful rider so cannot justify what the inner carbon tart in me would really like. My bike originally had Vision Team 30's on but having given them over to better half's bike I have struggled on local undulating routes to spin a set of Ultegra wheels as fast. Done a few decent rides now including in exposed crosswind and can thoroughly recommend these for anybody wanting a cost effective first Aero wheelset that are not too heavy but feel stiff and strong. Do not feel the small cost in weight over the Ultegras and seem more accelerative. Front: 810+55+100+250=1215g Rear: 970+60+100+250+280=1660g Wheel+Skewer+ContiTube+MichelinPro4Endurance25mm and in case of rear 280g is a 5800 11-28 cassette

Fantastic bargain

5

First ride this morning. Set off on my normal route, taking in a very bumpy section of road. What the.... who ironed the road? Paired with Michelin Pro 4 25mm tyres @ 100 psi, these wheels are incredible. My bike is transformed. I don't say this lightly. The only other time I have been so wowed by any bike component was when I started racing on tubs. 200g heavier than my previous wheels, but they seem to accelerate faster and hold onto speed more easily. Definite best buy.

Wider rim + aero = fast and comfy

5

Upgraded from ,2015 fulcrum 7 to racing quattros lg and the most noticeable difference is the comfort of the wider rims. I have the same conti gp 2000s II 25mm and also there is a noticeble added grip during cornering. I must add though that coming from 24/27mm rim depth to 35/35mm there is a noticeable difference with the crosswinds. Sudden gusts of wind especially downhill at 40-45 mph can be quite scary which i never felt with the shallower 7s. Overalll there is no difference in terms of weight but the aero benefit plus the comfort of wider rims is well worth the momey.

A Real Bargain

5

I have few miles on these so far, but they do feel solid and seem to carry speed well. Mine weighed nearly 1800g with the rim tape installed, well more than advertised, but I figure that is the price of usefully-tall brake tracks on stiff aero rims with the good rim tape already installed. I also like how the wider rim supports the tire laterally, actually improving steering response at the relatively low pressures that I use. I bought these wheels for our spirited local training rides and I think I picked the right wheelset to go with my new 11s components.

Simply amazing price to performance ratio

5

Yeah, so they're a little bit heavier than some wheels. The QUALITY though!! Every bit of these wheels is impeccably finished, they are as true as the day I bought them (despite horrible roads where I live), and the 24 mm width matches up perfectly with my 25mm tires for a fast, stable, quiet, aero package. I have no idea how these are selling for the price they are, but as far as I'm concerned this is THE BEST training wheelset on the market. And kudos to PBK for getting these to my door in under a week from ordering (US delivery). Great product, great service!

Fulcrum Racing Quatro LG Clincher wheelset 2016

5

I bought these as a replacement for my old Fulcrum Quatros that have done me proud as an all round hard as nails winter/training wheel. These are slightly lighter only just, than the older version, just as stiff thanks to the 2 - 1 spoke lacing on the rear (similar to the Dura Ace C35's) and they roll smooth and fast from the off. If these new wheels do as well as the older versions did, I will be most happy. Having said that, I only replaced the old ones because the bearings in the rear axle, hub, freewheel and the bearing compression nut gave up the ghost and it was cheaper in the long run just to buy a brand new pair ! I'm 6'1" and 87kg and these wheels have seen two British winters and 5,848.3 miles of hard training miles in all conditions. Breaking surfaces are barely marked, spokes are solid, run true: never needed to be tweeked. AWESOME set of all round bombproof wheels.

Quick and fast

I am happy so far. A lot quicker than the stock wheels I had on my Orbea. Happy so far.
