Roll beautifully
5I was looking for a replacement for my Mavic Kyserium SLS wheels which wore out after 40,000kms. These wheels had good reviews and the price was right. I’ve done about 300kms on these wheels over the last week and have been impressed. Not sure that these wheels make me any faster but have been very impressed with the quality of the ride and in particularly coasting and descending — the wheels roll beautifully and seem to spin forever

5these wheels just arrived and I took them for the first time our on the ride. I was very impressed by how nicely the role. they felt extremely soled in the corners, and fast up hills as well. they are also very quiet and feel light.

5These wheels are by far superior to a lot if not most carbon wheels. I have Reynolds assault carbon wheels. When I change them from the shamals i feel like carbon wheels are made out of cement. I only use the carbon wheels because they look cool but when its time to climb the sharmals get popped back on. Even on the flats they are fast.

5Without hesitation, Shamals are the best alloy road wheel made today. Had them 3 years, lots of miles, even on gravel and never had to true or rebuild the bearings yet. They roll better (faster) than my fancy carbon wheels with tubulars.

5Got those wheels for my birthday, installed new tires and up I went. Since than I have 6 new personal best and 2 new KOM on Strava. I got 500 km done so far on less than perfect roads and they still rolling true. Plus they look great, bonus.

Superb value and an excellent wheelset
5Wanted a replacement for my Fulcrum Racing 1s which were 16 years old (rims getting dangerously thin). Was looking for aluminium rims and something comparable. Ordered these from PBK and am absolutely delighted. The braking is hugely better than my old Fulcrums, and they feel great also. I'm not using Campag brake blocks and there is not an issue (Campag blocks might be even better at braking). Thank you PBK!
