The double valve with the locking lever on this pump is so quick and easy to use whether you have Schrader or Presta valves. You never need to unscrew and reverse the valve in the barrel.
The pump is capable of pumping your tyres to the optimum pressure with the pressure gauge. You can set your desired pressure with an arrow on the gauges outer ring, then pump up until the needle matches the arrow.
At this price I was surprised that the pump is made of metal, including the footplate. Should last years and a bit cheaper than some of the other pumps available.

First thing, the included pressure gauge is a must. Otherwise, your pumping unhooking the pump metering the pressure, letting air out, metering too low, hooking the pump back up... Buy a pump with a pressure gauge, it's a worth-while upgrade. With the Joe Blow, the upgrade wont hit your pocket book hard either.
I agree with Ride to Work Magazine. What they wouldn't have found in their short review period is that after two or three years of regular use you will need to either replace the head or open it up & tighten things down, as the head will eventually begin to leak air out of the unused nozzle.
Emptying your tires to 30-40 psi before inflating will increase the longevity of your pump as well.
