Gorgeous tool - ideal range for cycles
5I've learned the hard way that buying cheap tools is a false economy - if you take pride in what you're doing and want to do the best you can, then you'll need the best tool for the job; cheap tools can fail, be miserable to use or make a mess of things. This is definitely in the 'best tool for the job' category - it's beautifully made and presented, and a total joy to use. Setting is easy to do and see, and the 'click' when the limit is reached is easily discerned. It's a world apart from the cheap moving needle display version I had before, and I have total trust in the accuracy of what I'm setting now. I will never need another torque wrench :-]

5Superbly engineered and built, feels like real quality from the etched calibrations, knurled handle and individual serial number. The small size enables it to get into tight places such as underneath the seat and the range of bits covers shimano and campag groupsets. Good for 5000 actions much more than a home mechanic will do in a lifetime, if in the unlikely event it needs calibration after that the company will do it free. Yes it’s expensive but you get what you pay for.

Quality
5Quality piece of kit. Expensive, but then so are components that need to be torqued accurately. My old torque wrench was way out compared to this. Slipped bars on a ride prompted this purchase and no regrets. Feels very very well built. The bits with it cover pretty much every size you will need on a road bike and mtb for that matter. Small head size means better access for tricky bolts eg those on proprietary seat clamps etc. This model has a reversing ratchet by rotating the collar on the head which is handy and easy to use.
