The legendary Bora is not just for the pros.
All this makes it the ideal choice for competitive cyclists at any level and, from today, also for amateurs thanks to the arrival of the clincher version.
The Bora One wheelset is now available also in the new Dark Label version.
The Bora One wheel is entirely hand-assembled by a specialised Campagnolo technician and is checked in every tiny detail with electronic instrumentation. This ensures maximum performance and reliability for all Campagnolo wheels.
NEW FULL-CARBON RIM, 24.2 MM WIDE, FOR TUBULARS AND CLINCHERS: great comfort and maximum aerodynamics for interacting with new tyre standards. Extremely high lateral wheel stiffness and reactivity.
EXCLUSIVE RIM PRINTING SYSTEM: rim painting no longer required. The weight is greatly reduced and the surface is free from imperfections.
3DIAMANT: brake surface treatment
RDB RIM DYNAMIC BALANCE: exclusive system that assures perfect balancing of the rim even at high speeds. Moulded into the rim itself.
NEW BRAKE PADS MADE ESPECIALLY FOR CARBON WHEELS: the new blend increases the brake performance by about 40% on wet surfaces and 20% on dry surfaces without increasing the wear and tear on the pad. For a more modular and more secure stop.
SPOKES WITH AERODYNAMIC PROFILE: provides the maximum aerodynamic penetration. Reduces aerodynamic drag saving rider energy.
SPOKES ANTI-ROTATION SYSTEM: allows the spokes to maintain the best aerodynamic position.
EXCLUSIVE G3 SPOKE PATTERN: perfect balance of the spoke tensions on both sides of the wheel. reduces stress, increases
ALUMINIUM HUB: provides a high degree of lateral stiffness while keeping the weight low.
USB CERAMIC BALL BEARING: reduces friction, provides greater smoothness, and maintains performance over time.
OVERSIZED FLANGE: greater torsional stiffness and greater reactivity.
CUP AND CONE BEARINGS: easy ball/bearing adjustment - reduces possible ball/bearing play - precision operation - maintains performance over time.
ALUMINIUM AXLE: reduces the weight of the wheel.
QUICK RELEASE: new, completely redesigned and lighter aerodynamic-profile wheel block. Steel spine and eccentric, lever with drill lightening and aluminum die. Eccentric-closure system allows cyclist to modulate the pressure necessary for heightened sensitivity to find the proper closure for the block. Easy to use, with a material resistant to wear and tear, rust, and pressure

It took me quite a while doing a few research deciding should i opt for clincher or tubular. The risk is always having to deal with puncture on the roadside so clincher is well regarded. However with the recent improvement made on tubular tires especially the new Vittoria Corsa G+ i decide just before X'mas last year to take that leap in picking tubular over clincher. Done over 150km since i got them so i am going to give my own review hope it will help some people decide whats best for them. Bora score big on the Looks department, the finishing of the wheels are so perfect that i think it deserve to be hang on the wall like Michael Angelo painting. I can't think of any other wheel that look this good with it G3 spoke on the rear it is definitely one of the kind. Bora One is a traditional Cup and Cone bearing hub so having deal with Shimano DA before i knew how easy it is to service the hub myself so that again encourage me to opt for Bora. The Roll is very smooth infact i think it is one of the best compared to Zipp FC and Reynolds.Ceramic bearings could be the reason for the extra smoothness. Downside however this wheel is very stiff laterally so for long distant sportive i think it is going to be hush for some of you and tubular tires do require slightly higher PSI limit to work effectively. Aero dynamic wise.....hmmmm i can't tell the difference over Zipp or Reynolds at my level sorry. Cross wind didn't bother me much on this wheel. Another downside is you tend to stare at the wheel more than the bike itself thinking that you need a better bike to match this wheels.
