The Castelli Perfetto RoS Vest is the ultimate cycling gilet, providing that extra bit of protection on bad weather days while keeping you warm and dry too.
The front of the Perfetto Vest uses GORE-TEX INFINIUM 203 fabric. This fabric blocks out all the wind and sheds light rain with ease. Its stretchy and breathable too, meaning youre not going to overheat when the pace picks ups. The back of the vest uses Castellis Nano Flex Light Woven fabric for extra breathability and good water protection.
The vest closes with a YKK Vislon zipper for easy ventilation adjustment on the fly and has a dropped tail for a bit of extra coverage from road spray. There are two rear pockets with a pump sleeve so you can carry all you need.

Excellent
Top quality, as always with Castelli. Fit is spot on for them as well - size up and check the chart. Cuts the wind well, and will keep a bit of damp off as well. Not as thick as Gabba material (it's the RoS light), but that means it packs up small enough for a rear pocket.
The vest I was looking for!
Fantastic wind stopper combined with a great race fit. It still packs in your rear pocket if sun finally shows up. But if it doesn't, the Perfetto ROS vest will keep you warm (and dry) for your ride. I absolutely love it!
Best gillet/vest out there
Bought this after being so impressed with the Perfetto ROS long sleeve jersey/jacket and also the short sleeve light version. Wanted a gillet to wear as the temperatures drop as i'm not a fan of full blow jackets and can easily see this working with the long sleeve and a decent base layer in all temperatures i go out in (0 deg and above) Wore this the other week when i was drizzling and was spot on as well, packed away nicely in the pocket as well.

This vest is just perfect for 11 to 18 deg c. I bought the boring colour of yellow as just to stand out in the roads. Would have loved a different colour but the green/yellow really is bright. The vest is very comfortable and squashes up nicely for your back pocket when the temperature rises. I haven’t tested it in heavy rain yet but light rain it works well. As already mentioned by numerous people Castelli sizing is useless. I’m 5’8” and am very glad I bought XL. Over all I would recommend this vest to anyone and would buy it again in a minute
