Powdery
I read a lot about the importance of recovery drinks so I used this for quite a while, but to be honest, when I ran out the last time, I found that I didn't feel any different with not having a recovery drink.
The taste, although not the worst product I have ever tasted, is very powdery and not particularly nice and it tastes nothing like strawberry. It is however slightly less powdery if made up before the ride and left in the fridge awaiting your return (after all, it is supposed to be consumed within around 20 minutes after exercise for best effect).
I now just stick to carbohydrate drinks on the bike and finish it off when I get back in the house.
Also, wash the bidon thoroughly immediately after consuming because it seems to go off very quickly and the smell is then unbearable.
