certainly deliver the energy you need on a long hard bike ride
High5 Energy Gels are smaller than the gels available from some other brands, but they taste good and slip down easily - and certainly deliver the energy you need on a long hard bike ride.Do they work? Yes, absolutely. I have used High5 Energy Gels on several long rides, and they definitely provided sufficient energy to keep me bowling along nicely. Most sports scientists agree that athletes can absorb a maximum of around 60g of glucose per hour (give or take a bit, depending on body mass and other factors), and that's illustrated well with these gels: on long sportives, after the first two hours, I find that one High5 Energy Gel, plus some carb-based drink, keeps me fuelled up for half an hour of fairly hard riding.
Good value product
Typical results as expected from this gel as a fuel. The really nice thing about the product (I had citrus and banana) was the lack of taste.

Runny, Low Calories, Mediocre Taste
I tried a couple of these gels and found they were lacking the substantiality of Gu brand or others. The texture is fairly runny making it easy to accidentally pour out before getting it into your mouth. Each sachet doesn't have that many calories and the taste is just acceptable. I much prefer Gu brand and others.
Easiest gel to eat
These are just like other gels in terms of energy gained. The difference is in the liquid consistency making them very easy to get down quick. The flavours where good and on par with other brands. This has to be one of my favourites because I don't have to fight with it trying to get it down while i in the middle of a group. Just rip open and drink it down.
Bright flavors, recommended
These fruit-flavoured gels are a great change from other, more mundane flavours. The raspberry gel is especially good. Great value too.

Citrus and summer fruits taste ok. I like the iso version better but you can fit more of these in your pockets.

Cheap compared to other energy gels, tastes good and is easy to take using just one hand during a race.
A like/dislike product
I didn't like the taste that much.
The consistency is like sports drinks and it taste like unmixed sports drink, too strong. I really like a bit more "jelly" consistency like powerbar so this doesn't do it for me..
Good basic gel
Cheaper than many brands. Good consistency. Citrus flavour the best but all flavours tasty and not as intense as some brands (a good thing). Prefer the plus with caffeine.
