Lezyne Femto Rear Bicycle Light

Fantastic light, looks good, very quick to fit and change to another bike super bright great for day or night time.

Back Light

Easy to use , can be fitted in seconds. Good range of light options, very bright.

Close but no cigar....

Small, compact, bright and flashing. These little lights look good and perform fairly well as see me as opposed to see by type lights... They are no better or worse than the majority of lights around the same price and functionality on a par with the likes of Knog's offerings...
What I don't like is the plastic thread on the base where the pitch is so fine, it is going to be a pain to ensure that it isn't cross threaded into the aluminium housing. Also, I can't seem to (having assembled the body/base) align the prominent 'Lezyne' logo on the lens 100% horizontally each time the unit is reassembled...maybe it's just me.?? You can (if you have strong/defined fingernails) grasp the logo and twist it ..but why should you need to....
Another gripe is that although one side of the rubber band fastener is hooked (good, strong 'snap' in) to prevent it coming loose...the other side (presumably to make it easy to fasten/remove should you nip in to the shops- to prevent sticky fingered removal) is fairly loose in comparison- relying on the tension of the rubber band to hold it in place...I guess time will tell if it 'bounces' off during the rigors of the (potholed) road riding around my surrounding areas...
All in though I'd still give the 'pair' 4/5 as buying as a set saves a few €s...pity that only applies to the black/silver sets..the coloured (anodised red) ones would have been a better co-ordinated match to my bike...but I wasn't prepared to shell out an extra €6 for the privilege...
