Smart R1 smarter one
5I already possess 3 Smart rear lights, however these are of the 1/2 watt type. Nothing at all wrong with them, in fact they are fantastic. The R1 1 Watt version is just that bit better and is brilliant. You won't be missed with one of these on the rear of your bike, and that's the whole point of having a rear light. In a comparison the R1 wins hands down over an already great light, night or day.

4I use this light on my back pack whilst commuting. It is super bright to the point that I do wonder if car drivers are getting blinded by it. Although I haven't used it the bunch ride setting is a very good idea. Great service from PBK

4Exceptionally bright and at a fairly good price! You cant compromise safety so it’s a no brainer here to get one of these. And has a group ride mode so not to blind the riders you – handy. Although the battery life is long it still takes AAA batteries which looses a star from me. Hopefully they’ll make a rechargeable version soon.

Two parts of this light disunited while riding over some hubble and that part with lamps and batteries falled on the road. I think there is some mistake in the design of the fixture points between two parts of the light - they should be more tight.
Nevertheless the light is bright and is worth using if you ride flat roads.

The Smart 1W light is fantastic - I ride to and from work daily on some country roads and this light keeps me safe from behind. The light is easy to mount, waterproof, easy to operate with winter riding gloves on and highly visible through the rear 180 degrees.
Proof of this is when a mate of mine thought I was maintaining ~60kph down the road to work but it was the intensity of the light that fooled him.
I can't recommend this highly enough.
bright and cheap

This light is very bright. I use mine all the time from riding in low light conditions to fog and even at night. It is easy to mount and can even be clipped onto my saddle bag.
Simple to use and a quality item that I would recommend
Great little Light, very good flash.
4I own two of these little lights and they both had problems with water ingress. I now put a strip of good quality electrical tape around the join to stop the water, and it works a treat.
