Great Product
5I have used Assos and this PBK product and for me I love this PBK cream. The Assos is slightly warm when applied (very mild i might add) but PBK is perfect nice and cool and certainly does the trick after a long ride.

5I have tried a number of different brands of Chamois cream, but I find this is the best one. I have used Assos and although to two are slightly different (Assos is thicker) I prefer the PBK Cream

4I've never used the Assos cream, but this comes in a similar-looking jar, so it must be similar cream... no? Seriously, though, it is easy to use, and seems to work well enough. And the price for this is more attractive than for the others.

4I've been really pleased with this chamois cream so far. It works at keeping everything cool and comfortable on those long rides. It has a nice viscosity for easy application and a nice scent too, which also helps to combat against odours.

Does a great job without any bonus additives like extra scent. Assos is perhaps a little thicker but PBK brand is by no means too watery. I have not noticed any real difference between the two actually, especially after a long ride.

I've used Assos and a range of other creams over the years, and picked this because of a good write up.
It's as good as or better than Assos and doesn't leave you with the tingling sensation (I prefer minty freshness in my chewing gum, not my chamois cream).
Have taken it on several 150km sessions and it holds up very well, but washes off easily, once you hit the showers. It's been out in 40 degree (Celsius) days and stays fresh the whole time.
Plus it's half the price of many of it's competitors.

5If you were to conduct a blind test, you might not catch the difference between this and the Assos cream.... and so its a great value coming in at a lower price point.
