With a 38mm carbon rim and weighing 1640 grams per pair, this disc-brake wheelset balances lightweight and aerodynamic performance with extreme precision, making them one of the best all-round race wheelsets available. In addition, this wheelset is designed with a slightly wider 18.4mm internal rim width, so riders can run wider tyres for more comfort on rougher roads.
These race-ready carbon rims are combined with a set of reliable phantom flange hubs which are equipped with sealed bearings to maximise longevity, and offer a quick engagement to respond instantly, as soon as you put the hammer down. These hubs are laced to the rim with 24 DT Swiss Aero Comp spokes on the front, and 24 on the rear. This design ensures that the WCS carbon wheelset offers superior strength and remains easily serviceable. As each wheelset is hand-built and balanced by Ritchey, every pair of WCS carbon wheels offer a class-leading ride quality and lasting performance that few wheelsets can match.

Ritchey Apex WCS 38 mm
Bought these as a No.1 Wheelset for my first disc brake bike to replace the stock wheels it came with. They came c/w QR hubs, but I ordered a Ritchey Thru Axle Conversion Kit (Very easy to swap out). They're a quality piece of kit, really impressed so far, extra bonus is that they look the part as well.
