Pro wheels for a price you can't resist
5Thanks to the support and the pro savings (money) I was able to buy and install these nice wheels! Support: I had to figure out how to install a Fulcrum conversion kit so that I transform Quick release into thru-axle!

5I had never ordered anything for my bike online before and was a bit apprehensive because of the unknown. What a pleasant experience! I live Victoria, British Columbia Canada. I placed my order on January 7 (a Sunday) and received my fabulous new Fulcrum Carbon Wheel-set on January 22. The packaging was amazing, my new wheels were very thoroughly protected. The quality of the wheels are first rate. I will be ordering items from Probikekit in the future.

Good value
4Nice wheels, stiff, fast and priced well. I took the stickers off, finish under is not consistent. The carbon weave is exclusive to Fulcrum and looks good under the sun.

Excellent
5The value for these wheels is incredible. At this price, there is no way to get a carbon wheelset of this quality from any other brand. These are a massive improvement over the stock Giant PR-2 wheels. Much lighter, stiffer and quicker. I'm extremely happy with the investment.

Awesome Value Wheelset
5I purchased the Fulcrum Racing Quattro Carbon DB wheelset from PBK to use as everyday wheels after I read multiple reviews praising the wheels performance / value mix. I paired the wheels with Continental GP 4000s II tires in 25mm width and have since logged ~500 miles on the wheels. While I do not believe the Fulcrums are at the same performance level of the Enve 4.5AR Discs that I really wanted, they cost 1/3 the Enves cost and perform better than I expected. The Fulcrum wheels accelerate well, corner well, climb better than I anticipated, and have been stable in the wind despite my expectations based on the shape. I hit a good sized pothole on my most recent ride and the wheels are still as true as the day I received them. I highly recommend these wheels for performance / value. For anyone purchasing these (or other large items) in U.S.A., please be patient with PBK. After reading some of the reviews on PBK I was concerned when the shipment tracker stopped for longer than a week. PBK customer service associates were very helpful fielding my questions and assuring me the wheels were still on their way. Turns out the wheels were stuck in US customs and after they cleared customs they arrived very quickly. Very happy with PBK's, price, free shipping, and after sales service. Thanks!

Better than advertised, but room for improvement
4After reading reviews I decided to give them a try. I purchased a pair of schwalbe pro one 25mm tubeless and a pair of 55mm valve stems and managed to get the tires on by hand. Not easily, but not too bad either. With a bit of playing with them I was able to inflate the tires to 120psi with no sealant or rim tape and they held the preasure for five minutes before I deflated them and added sealant. They don't have the extra groves in the channel that rims advertised as tubeless ready have but it seems to be working fine. I've just taken them out for a few rides one of which was up Mt. Diablo (3,400ft/1100m of elevation gain on the climb with lots of switchbacks). I'm 160lbs and have just gotten back into cycling after many years off. The tires and wheels climb, corner, and decend better than the wheel set that came with my cannondale synapse adventure which is expected, what was unexpected is that they seem to be better in crosswinds than the 25mm deep aluminum rims that came with the bike. I don't know how much of the better road feel and more comfortable ride is from the tubeless tires and how much is from the rims. But they are a huge improvement. The downside is that they do not have the modern aero shape that Enve, HED, and Zipp have. The warranty is also the minimal two years as compared to the Enve that has a lifetime warranty and a five year crash replacement warranty, so I'm not sure if the Enve 3.4 at 3x the price are a better long term value or not, but the sale price made these seem attractive. I'm not sure if I'm being too demanding by not giving them five stars, but the next version could be a lot better, so I feel like I have to only give four stars, even though they are a very fun set of wheels. I can clearly see how these were considered a best value by reviewers.

It's NOT AFS, it's 6-Bolt!
2I am rather upset with PBK. In the "Option" dropdown menu, it clearly says "AFS/Th. Bolt". However, when the product arrives, it's actually 6-Bolt mounting! I am now stuck with a pair of Shimano Centerlock rotors that I can't use and have to go buy new 6-Bolt rotors!

Fast wheels
4Very pleased with the purchase. Prompt delivery and a great price. The Fulcrum Quatro wheels are fast and stiff and have transformed my cyclo cross bike. Accelerate really well and roll well. Have set them up as tubeless. They are easy to set up and hold the air well. Highly recommend them. Experienced 95 kg rider.

Almost Excellent
4Great wheels at a great price. ProBikeKit got the wheels to New Zealand in a couple of days but the local delivery agent took almost 2 weeks to notify BY LETTER! that customs duties were to be paid and so delivery took almost 3 weeks.

First time wheel upgrader
5Purchased the wheelset last month but haven't had a chance to install them yet. I need the QR version, but by the time I've made up my mind to purchase these, the QR version is sold out. So I purchased the thru-axle instead but will need additional hardware to convert to QR. Wheel quality / finish wise, it is very nice. Would have been nice to have wheel bags included. This is my first time upgrading my wheelset. Disc brake wheelset upgrade options aren't very common yet. For the price, these carbon disc brake wheelset is very good deal. It doesn't have top of the line components, but this isn't asking for top dollar either. Shipping from probikekit was quick. Free as well. ALSO, they didn't classify these as bulky / large item. Whereas most other online retailers have an additional shipping charge.
