This is 2013 Vittoria Open Corsa CX Clincher Road Tyre with the new ISOgrip compound. The first impression is absolutely true, fantastic grip, comfort and reliability under all conditions. Once you try an open tubular, you never go back. I used (and was getting disappointed) with several clincher types in the past couple of years but Vittoria open tubes, both Evo and this new type are true to their promise in every way. This tyre does not fall short from the tubular construction tyres I used a lot in my better riding days (I do not race, can't tell if this one would be good for racing). I use it with latex tube and the gain in speed and comfort is obvious. As to durability, it is stated that this is not a strong point for this tire and I would take it as such, not a negative point at all. Puncture resistant is very good, almost as good as Pave CG type that I have on my rear wheel (this one I mounted on the front). Altogether, I highly recommend this.
