Great tyres but do cut up

I have used other tubbies but these are the best. Had a few punctures early on their use but if you can get through the first 300 - 500 kms then it seems that the tyre beds in and the rubber toughens up a little and punctures and cuts get less of an issue

Vittoria Corsa EVO CX Tubular 23mm

Great tires for their intended purpose of racing. Both my front and rear have about 700 miles on them and the rear is wearing down pretty quickly, probably about half way through their usable life. Have ridden over some questionable road debris without any cuts or punctures, but would not train on these tires. They corner great and have solid grip, while seemingly fast.

Great race tire

Use these on my Reynolds carbon race wheels and they are great. I've used contis and tufo (terrible by the way), and these just feel so much better. I'd like to try the veloflex carbons, but I've been really happy with these and don't have any desire or need to switch.

Excellent race-day tyre

Good grip, light weight, but most importantly durable. This is a rare quality in a tubular tyre. I use these as my race-day tyres on both my road bike and time trial bike. The rear gave out after 1000 race miles, the front is still going strong after 1500+ race miles.
I have run these tyres from 95 psi (7 bars) to 160 psi (11 bars) depending on road surface- they work well on every road I've tried them on.

Pure Race tyre

Lets be clear, this is the best tyre for racing, it has the best grip and it is very fast. They are pretty well priced, which is a bonus
BUT that is also its problem, it wears fast, it cuts easy. For some this is OK, but for me I just got so jack of DNF's and wanted the reliability and quality of the Conti product.
If I had a support car ready for me for a quick wheel change each race I would be back on the CX, though

Reliable

I've been using the Corsa's on my race wheels for 2 triathlon seasons now and haven't had a puncture or loss of pressure problem. I think that for the price you can't go better.

FAST TIRE

This tire is FAST and corners well. Although they have low durability and the latex built in tube leaks a lot of air quickly, I still liked racing on them all season.

The only tubular I'll ever use.

I'm a 5'9" 140 lb rider, and I always like to treat myself to nice tires for racing. These are great tires, but unless you live on the cleanest roads with no glass/debris, or you're rich you probably shouldn't train on these babies. This is my 2nd set of Vittoria Evo Corsa Tubulars, and I'll come back for more.

Pros:
-light
-corner well
-very low resistance

Cons:
-not durable at all for glass/debris on the road
-cost is high, but most high end tubulars that perform this well cost about the same, if not more.

Lovely tubs!

These really are the business! I use them on my MadFiber wheels and they are just sublime. Good weight for the puncture resistance! My 700x23 came in at 246 and 249. Very pleased!

The best tubular tire, hands down.

I have used plenty of different types of tubular tires, including extremely expensive silk woven tubulars (which cornered well, but had no durability). I have gone through perhaps 6 sets of these tires on my few pairs of Zipp's over the years. What I like the most is that they are made very precisely, meaning when I glue them to the rim, they don't require much finagling to get it seated just about perfect and true. The 320 TPI casing will SPOIL you!!! Everything else you ride on, such as clinchers, just don't feel the same... The 320TPI casing makes corning amazingly predictable, due to the supple and uniform sidewalls that compress exactly the same all the way around the tire. The bottom line: They are cheap on PBK!! They are very well made. They last FOREVER!!! They are the best tubular tires for racing and everyday riding available!
