Phenomenal tire

This is my second set of Michelin tires. I am very pleased with the performance in the dry and wet. I live in Houston, TX and the weather here is warm and humid. The tire outperforms most products on the road, many people don't ride in the rain due to slips and falls. I have full confidence in these tires and don't miss a ride regardless of the weather. I recommend these tires to anyone who is looking for a set of grippy tires. I don't race and most of the rides I do are intermediate level. That doesn't mean I should settle for lesser tires. After all, the tires keep me safer by allowing me to manouver with confidence.

Michelin Pro 4 Comp Service Course

This tire is incredibly light weight and durable; it has fantastic lower rolling resistance and is noticeably faster than the Pro 4 Service Course; combined with the Panaracer R'air tube and carbon aero wheels (I use Zipp Firecrest 404s) and you get an extremely fast tire. Rear tire wear and puncture resistance is comparable to the Pro 4 Service Course.

Like the tires

The Michelin Pro 4 Comp Clincher Road Tyres roll very nice and do seem fast. I am running them with a wider clincher so they are very comfortable. I do think they are somewhat less durable then other Michelin's I have ridden, my rear tire is done after 2,000 miles with a big slit down the sidewall that I think was caused by rolling over a rock at low speed. I also sustained 1 other puncture on the rear, I am pretty lightweight and flats are pretty great for me. My recommendation is to use these on your race wheels, as an everyday tire. It's something more durable and may be a better choice given the price on these.

Way better than Pro 3

I've always liked how the Michelin tyres felt on the bike and grip was good, but oh, so fragile. The pro 4 came out and grip and feel were marginally better than the 3, and durability much improved. The Pro 4 Comp trumps this with lighter weight, softer feel and durability. Have done a few hard sportives on these and they are virtually unmarked. They feel very quick.

The Michelin Pro 4 Comp Clincher Road Tyre has been an excellent tyre to date. It provides good grip on hard turns and quick acceleration. It's the only tyre I had for a few weeks and I love it. I'm not sure about longevity, but the tire is surely fast.
