With the Grand Prix 4 Season's DuraSkin™ anti-tear fabric, this tyre is as hard as nails. Featuring in the hellish Paris - Roubaix race, it was later found that riders who had been using this tyre with DuraSkin™ actually suffered less punctures and other tyre related incidents.
The 'carbon compound' featured on the Grand Prix 4 Season, means that it is a extremely wear-resistant tyre, showing minimal signs of damage after many long rides. A double Vectran® Breaker belt under the tread raises the puncture and cut protection to the highest level available on the market. Available in 23mm, 25mm and 28mm versions, the Grand Prix 4-Season is a customisable choice for all types of riders. - T.H
"The Continental GP 4-Season is the standard: full score in all categories! The tyre is lightweight and rolls well. It achieved by far the best result in offering fantastic grip and puncture protection, even in the wet and cold. Not just the top winter tyre." The test results from Road Bike Magazine

I have tried a few tyres, even other Continental ones, but these are just so reliable. In two years (I know I am tempting fate here) I have not had a puncture, and I ride about 220kms per week. That includes riding on some rough roads in Italy, they are just fantastic. I have even dug out glass from the tyre where it should have gone through, but these have a great level of protection. Rolling-wise I don't see much difference from any other tyre, so they won't hold you back.
These seem to be a step up from the "old favourite" Gatorskins and are also a fine all-round tyre; they balance performance, weight, grip and durability quite well. For me, they are an excellent choice for riding year in and year out, regardless of the road surface and weather. So far they have been very capable performers. Cheers, Tom
great tyres at good price with good grip and roll
As a regular user of gp4000 I was very satisfied with the ride quality of the four seasons. Great all weather grip with a stronger carcas for everyday use no flats yet after a 1000ks and the tyres are confident inspiring So far so good
An extremely durable tyre. Rode an event over 170kms over some terrible back roads in NSW and no punctures. Good grip in the wet. Well worth the extra money.
I recently purchased 2 Grand Prix 4 Season`s DuraSkin Tyres 23mm I have been using this type of tyre for 5 years for Long Distance Cycling and find that they wear well and grip very well and are well priced I recommend them to my fellow cyclists
Always an excellent price and fast delivery to Australia.
Great set of tires, Brought these to help reduce the never ending punchers I have been getting this season on the bike. So far so good, very gripy and well worth the money I spent on them.
I have used these for over 2000km and 12 months. They handle predictably and roll well in wet or dry. Other tyres are stickier in the dry but those wear out too fast. Good flat resistance and easy to fit. Despite the price I put them on my second bike too.
I chose this tire for the rear for this winter as my rear tire gets chewed up in our winter. I love GP 4000's and i have one on the front but for the rear this is what seems like a bomb proof tire to get me through winter and probably all of spring as well cheers
