Superb Tires

My “go-to” high performance tubulars. Great road feel, long lasting and very good puncture protection. PBK has the best prices and free/fast shipping.

Conti Force Tubular

Have done many years of kmS over 20years wil bring that feeling of training and race day. These are my training tyre of choice as I can’t 5000 GP of GP in Tubular versions. proven tyre choice. Now train with these for confidence being a 24mm tyre but understand the new Clinicher Force Rear is 25cm which feels Nearly as nice as the Vittoria Corsa G2 but not quite a soft / grip to the touch and not as fast but haven’t done like for like Watt test on similar environment. (Not training is normally done on the left had side of the verge Heavy trip (gravel) Vs race day on tarbled transport lines of each wheel or painted line.

Terrific tubular tire

I have been using Continental Competition tubulars for some years now and decided to give the Force Tubular a try. Much to my surprise it has been the best rear tire I have used and surpasses even the Competition. The tread is slightly different than the competition, but it wears even better, has fantastic road feel and grip. Even after 2,000km of riding it shows very little wear. Superb rear tire and pairs well with a 22mm tire in from such as the Attack or Competition.

Brilliant tyre

The best rear tyre I have ridden on to date, the reasons it is so good are: Very puncture resistant and long wearing, plus holds pressure very well. Very grippy in all conditions particularly on greasy wet roads. The width gives the tyre a little more profile and therefore a smoother ride and rolling resistance is no different to a smaller width. plus its Lightweight. This tyre replaced my mavic tubs which were slippery in the wet, low profile and therefore rough ride and not very puncture and cut resistant.

best tire yet

Absolutely smashing tire. Smooth, fast. sticks on the corners. No flats yet. Only question remaining... how long will they last? Only time and miles will sort that out.
