Targeted at professional users, Giustaforza II 2-16 Pro is red anodized and has a reversible ratcheting head.
Capacity from 2 up to 16 Nm:
This is the best torque range for precision bicycle applications and ‘sensitive’ components. In use, always refer to the torque values specified on technical documents or printed on the parts themselves.
Easy to use:
- Set the desired torque rotating the wrench end knob, reading the torque value on the scale (scale resolution is 0,5 Nm, integers on one side, 0,5 on the other) insert the appropriate bit (depending on the bolt you need to tighten). When using the tool, a loud ‘CLICK’ and a 3° free-movement tells when the torque has been reached. Always take the wrench to minimum torque value after use.
- Ratcheting head:
- For an higher productivity in professional applications, Giustaforza II Pro gets a very small yet highly reliable ratcheting head. 1/4 square (1/4 square/hex adapter provided, to be able to use standard bits).
The light aluminium body keeps the weight down to a record-breaking sub-200g value, less than half the weight of other torque wrenches in this range of torque. This is paramount to get the right feedback at low torque values, without mistaking the effort to hold the tool with the applied torque.
A state-of-the art tool, built to last:
functional, linear in design and precise in any detail: shouldn’t be a surprise to know that Giustaforza II 2-16 Pro has been designed and produced in Italy. The tool is hard-anodized with laser-etched inscriptions and is built to last. The mechanical, click-type functioning make the wrench extremely shock tolerant and the absence of batteries or electronics further increase its reliability. Each sample is checked and numbered as a single masterpiece.
the +-4% tolerance is guaranteed for 5000 cycles (5000 ‘clicks’), then the wrench should be re-calibrated. Calibration is a service Effetto offer in their laboratories at the cost of 35€ plus shipping expenses (may vary depending on the countries). After every calibration, the tolerance of +-4% over nominal value will extend for 5000 cycles. After calibration, the wrench will be returned to the customer with a calibration certificate.

Handy but instructions awful
This was delivered quickly. It's lightweight but a bit bulky in the padded bag. Still fits into a jersey if you really need it with you. Some things to note before using it for the first time. The scale is very small and although my eyesight is great, I still have to photo the torque indicator and magnifiy it with the phone so I can see precisely what it's set on. Also, the instructions are abysmal and unclear. To change the direction you have to rotate the black disc on the back of the head unit with the torque off. Also to set the scale precision, take off the torque and push the head sideways. Used it today on my vector pedals and was happy. Not sure the extra pieces are worth the extra cost
