Excellent bar one point
4I've clocked up about 300km on these pedals now, and overall they are a massive improvement on my very worn Look Keo Carbons. The platform is really very broad and provides a huge amount of support when pedalling, and the "click" when clipping in is a really great noise! However the one drawback if the process of clipping in. I've not found it to be as bad as some online reviews suggest, but they can be a little inconsistent with regard to their neutral hanging position. That said, I've got to go back 10 years to the first pair of look pedals with a chunky metal body to remember a pair that consistently fell to a convenient position when unclipped.

4Very good pedals overall. I have a pair of the original blades and these have a slightly bigger platform for more comfort on long rides. I had the "red" blade and switched to the "yellow" blade for these pedals and it is much easier to release while still preventing inadvertent releases. The only fault is that the pedals do not freely rotate when not attached to the foot. This has resulted in a longer learning curve to enable clicking in without looking at the pedal. For this reason, I would not recommend them for anybody using clipless pedals for the first time.

4I've only been on a few rides with the new pedals. I upgraded from Look's bottom-of-the-line Keo Easy. I got the mid-tension model (16NM) and I love the positive feel when stepping in and out of these pedals. Also, when riding, I feel I have a great connection with the pedal and through to the drive-train. However, I recently had a very innocuous crash, as I mounted a driveway at low speed, but too shallow of an angle. I fell over and the pedal, handlebars, and seat all contacted the ground while there was still a bit of forward motion. The bit of carbon on the outboard end of the pedal that supports the metal contact plate was abraded away, which caused the metal on the contact patch to pop off. While I was able to pop the metal skin back in place, it is now overhanging the pedal because of the bit of missing carbon. I was surprised that a relatively minor incident like this would cause this kind of damage to the pedal. I'm not sure if the metal skin will stay reliably in place. I would have given these pedals 5 stars prior to seeing what appears to me to be a design weakness.

5These are some of my favorite pedals I've used. When riding I prefer a tighter spring load to keep my feet attached. In other brands my foot would sometimes pop out of the pedal while climbing and this set off a chain reaction for an unpleasant event on the top tube. Positives Great quality, lightweight, excellent foot surface with great contact points, and 2 year Look warranty. I've taken them for a 150+ km and they feel great. Negatives So far the only negative thing I've encountered is the extra edge on the pedal. It has a fairly sharp surface that I have knocked my my shin with a few times here and there. If look were to put a slight rubber edge this would eliminate the issue.

4Superlight, look great and ALMOST perfect. These pedals are probably the best I have ever used. My shoes, pedals and cranks feel like one unit and, when clipped in kinda disappear ( in a good way). My only issue is that they do not rotate into the ideal position to clip easily.
