Hmmm not a winner yet

These are a good 'pedal system' design, but with a cheap thermoplastic resin body they flex too much and develop slop very quickly. The design is not one for longevity. but a good entry point to try the 'system...before shelling out on the more expensive blade series. This is the entry level for mine (despite the Keo sprint etc...) the Blade is for those putting some serious kms in

great pedals

5

These are my favourite pedals, In fact, I just bought another pair for my other road bike...this time I got the white ones. Solid build, light, and easy to adjust. I'm a big guy and I really feel stable on these.

Very good pedals

5

nice lightweight reliable pedals at a good price although it took some getting used to because it makes two noises when you try to clip in and I sometimes did not wait for the louder click and my feet came out but is easy to get used to

Big difference

4

I have ridden the Keo Easy for the past 3 years and finally decided to upgrade to the Keo 2 Max. What a difference. I am kicking myself for not doing it sooner.

Great Quality Lightweight Pedals

5

I upgraded from the classic pedals and these are lighter, stiffer, larger platform, and a lot better power transfer.

The larger platform is worth the upgrade and these pedals are a great bang for your buck!

I love these pedals!

5

I have ridden with these pedals for over a year. I upgraded from a much older pair of Look pedals. I have not caught a pedal yet even when cornering hard and pedaling. They show very little wear and seem as good now as the day I put them on my bike.

Good lightweight pedal easy to clip in

5

I had just upgraded form the classic pedals and the Keo Max are better in a lot of ways. They are lighter, easier to clip in and out, bigger platform to transfer power more efficiently, and they do not wear on the cleats as much as the classics do.

Excellent upgrade from Keo Classics

4

I recently bought these pedals from PBK and have just installed them for spring upgrading from Keo Classic pedals.

The larger platform makes for a more stable feel, which is a bonus over the classics. The grip cleats are much better than the standard cleats, since they don't slip. This may not seem like a big deal, but if you are getting on rollers during the winter in your home, the non-grip cleats could give way and make you fall.

I also love the look of them, and the new metal insert that prevents wear of the actual pedal itself.

Overall very smooth pedals, I have not had any issues with noise that some people have spoken about in other reviews.

Bigger platform and smoother float for Look's updated KéO pedal

4

Look's ubiquitous KéO road pedal receives a significant update in the new KéO 2 Max, with a wider composite body and co-moulded stainless steel upper plate that lends a more solid feel underfoot and less out-of-plane rocking compared to the original KéO.

Stable and secure - 7/10

3

It was pleasing to use the Keo 2 Max first time out, and immediately be able to notice the extra stability and secure feel offered by the larger platform, and subsequent increase in surface area contact for the cleat. A definite plus over the old Keo. Also, the previous flaw, that the cleat caused wear directly on the pedal body, has been successfully addressed by adding a stainless steel plate.
We like the price and weight (130g per pedal) plus the simple way of adjusting Q factor, with washers and a longer threaded portion, although we suspect for many the latter won't be in the purchasing criteria.
