5I tried the latex tubes, but they lose air too quickly for my likes, and the performance difference wasnt noticeable. These tubes are good quality, not Chinese, and are reasonably priced. The valves work quite well in my floor pumps, which makes topping off a breeze.

5I've been buying these tyres (and their predecessors for several years. I no longer get flats, and I get great mileage (wear) . . . 3000 miles per tyre.. The handling is good (I ride mostly in dry desert conditions in the US), and the coloured sidewalls look good on my bikes.

1these tubes came with a pair of Continental 4000 11 S. They were boxed so I did a double take when looking at them. The quality was far less than what I expected from Michelin advertising. These appeared to me to be very old stock, heavy with discolored stems. I have bought similar tubes in 5 packs for discounted price... I believe from the stems they came from the same producer but the 5 packs were much newer stock.

5After countless years of riding my bike with specific commuter tubes, race day tubes, tourer tubes etc, I have found the most reliable in terms of puncture resistance to be the Michelin A1 Airstop Road Short Valve Inner Tube. And on top of that, they also hold air really well... which is not something you should assume you get with road tubes. Great price too!
