5I use Campy parts exclusively for all my bikes because they simply can't be beat for longevity, quality and price from PBK. You may pay a little more up front for Campy but they perform better and last forever. Thank You PBK, for keeping your selection high and prices low.

5Exactly what I was looking for. I had to look on You Tube to see how to change the pads. Was easy.

4I use these pads for training and racing during the dry months while running alloy rims. Very good stopping power and modulation. I do a lot of elevation work and these pads do just fine on mountain descents. When I need to remove the pads from my Super Record holders (when I swap to carbon rims) I can do it easily enough by hand, without requiring my Jagwire Pad Press. These pads don't last too long in rough winter conditions. For winter outdoor base miles on my "rain bike" I usually run SwissStop Race Pro's (green).

4I don't have experience of other brands of brake blocks as I prefer to replace like for like. So I can't offer any guidance on the alternatives. What I can say is Campag brake blocks are reliable. Stuck a new set on front & rear before taking part in 3 Pistes Sportive - plenty of steep descents. Blocks worked well at speeds close to 50mph. Felt good and strong.. and no annoying squeaking or vibrations. Do other brands last longer? No idea... got a winter out of my last set. Lots of mileage with plenty of descents but grit and dirt do take their toll. My tip for removing the old block is to get a small screwdriver and lift the block from the open end. Slide the screwdriver underneath and leverage upwards. Easier than trying to slide a wedged block out.
