The Moon X Power 1300 features a range of technology to make the light as efficient as possible. Housed in a CNC aluminium body, the X-Power 1300 features 7 modes: overdrive, high, standard, low, flashing, strobe and SOS (only to be used in an emergency, this setting can be seen for miles and used to attract attention).
USB power output function allows you to charge your phone or camera from the battery pack. The battery can operate as a rear light with 6 Lumens output and be mounted to your seat post, handlebars or helmet.
The light's effective cooling system can increase run time and efficiency. Cooling is achieved through the dual air vents and specific bracket design dissipate heat through the light, and a rear zinc alloy heat sink that increases cooling and heat management.

Beefy light for such a compact setup
Bought this to helmet mount for night trail rides on a fatbike. Great battery life when on the two lowest settings, which also provides enough illumination against the snowy surface. Will see how it handles back on dirt in Spring time when I'm back on the trail bike. Finding the switch on top of the helmet takes a little getting used to, especially with gloves on. There is a switch on a wire tether which I haven't used yet. I'm sure it'll make the job easier, but I'm reluctant to have even more cables dangling from my head. The mount is velcro held which does a great job. I've not used the handle bar mount yet, but it looks sturdy enough. Overall a fantastic product. I wish the battery had a little more life in it, even if it increases the physical size of the batter, as I have to recharge after every ride.

Great, small light. I cycle on unlit country lanes and can see everything i need on the 3rd brightest setting which gives over 2 1/2 hrs (my longest ride so far) easily. Battery pack has a series of red lights to let you see exactly where the charge is, and if you do get low, the head unit has a red warning light giving you plenty of warning of a lowish battery and the option of dropping power further Easy to fit and the light and battery pack are both small and lightweight. This is my second moon, having bought an X-Power 1500 two years ago where I was disappointed that the wires worked loose on the battery pack (partly my fault in treating it roughly), but this is a much better build quality, size and certainly for road riding does everything you could need. PBK were selling it at about half price, and at that level it was fabulous value.
Great Light
Great light, compact, good battery life, remote switch for ease of use. Plenty of modes, flashing * 3, 4 power settings for light. Very pleased with it overall. Great service as well.

I took a chance buying this light, I only managed to find 2 reviews on line, 1 on bike radar giving it 3.5stars & another giving it 4 stars. I imagine in both cases this was if paying full price. Well I paid PBK'S bargain price & I give it 5 stars 100%, pound for pound I don't think you will get a better front light! I use the light for road use and use it on its lower settings 850/500 settings most the time as the full 1300 isn't required. I love cycling in the day but I have now find cycling in the dark can be just as much fun. Early sunset, late sunrise not a problem anymore!
