Carry on rolling with the Michelin Lithion 2 Clincher Road Tyre. This innovative tyre offers massive improvements over the original tyre, with its increased grip and rolling resistance.
Designed to look just like an actual race tyre, Lithion 2 is incredibly durable and ideal for the cyclists who want to put the miles in. Every aspect of the tyre has been refined over the predecessor and it offers great value for money. - A.D.

I have been riding on these tyres for 2 years having previously bought 4 of them when on sale. I still have 1 tyre unused as they have worn so well despite constant long distance group rides twice each week. I only changed the rear tyre 6 months ago after a piece of glass pierced the sidewall, but it now still runs on my indoor training bike with a magnetic resistance roller, even though the centre tread is thin (small ripples). The Lithion 2 tyres may not be quite as light as the Michelin Pro tyres use by several other riders in my cycling group, but they are more puncture resistant and have certainly been more durable on coarse rural bitumen surfaces. The Lithion 2's grip well on corners and in the wet and the dark blue sidewalls match my bike's paint scheme. I have used highend ("expensive") race tyres and highly durable training tyres but the Lithion 2's provide an excellent ride and durability at a very economical price (when on special discount). They're Michelins and they're GREAT!!
The Lithion 2 Tyres give long service even in the tropics and conditions in the Philippines. The Michelin Pro 4 are no good. The coloured sidewalks deteriorate where the colouring becomes sticky and sleeps to melt away in places as the inner canvas can be seen, all within 6 months. Although reported to Michelin, they have done nothing to explain the situation. This leaves a bad taste and after a number of follow ups with Michelin Australia whereby I'll likely go back to Conti's.
Great tyer's good price, not happy with postage to Australia took to long.
I have been using the Lithion 2 tyres as a training and occasional race tyre for over 12 months. Very comfortable, good milage and can recall very few punctures. Great value and performance for money.
These tyres were a surprise. I chose them for the side wall colour which matches the bikes scheme. What id did not expect is that these tyres have a ride, grip and puncture resistance that easily matches the more expensive tyres i have been using for years. certainly a great buy. And they look great too!
A great tyre for racing, holding corners well. Not tested in wet conditions yet. My only minor moan is the amount of punctures. Despite this, I keep purchasing more of the same so can't be all that bad.
I have used this brand in a 23mm tyre and thought it was more comfortable than other brands I'd used... to the point that I checked they were actually 23's. Sure were and happy so when I need to replace them I thought its time to try a 25mm tyre.. Super happy with performance as a training tyre and the bumps are just smoothed away. May not be the most expensive tyre out there but EXCELLENT value for money and super comfortable
Amazingly light tires for a surprisingly low price. These tires offer amazing grip on the road during both wet and dry conditions and they never slip even in the toughest turns. Gained a complete new riding experience with these set of tires. Although performance comes at the expense of durability, I would have to disagree on this point as the Lithion-2's also offer great punture and slash resistance to all sorts of hazards u can come across a road.
I’ve only done 500Km on these tyres so far, however they have not disappointed. Living in a rural area of Australia I train on a lot of very bad roads – rough chip-seal, loose gravel. So far these have been durable and most surprisingly smooth. Other tyres have tried have been durable enough but transferred every small bump through the contact points. The Lithion’s seem to soak up much more vibration, and at the same time roll faster over rough surfaces.
Got some good kms out of the last set; colour matches the bike nicely; good grip in nearly all conditions.
These tires are great value, and very robust over poor roads. They go really well too. Get some.....
Great value tyres, well known brand. Smooth
These Michelins are a very good tyre in terns of low rolling resistance, puncture protection, grip, and durability. After 2500 Kilometers riding on poor roads these tyres have held up very well. Definitely excellent value for money.
Once again, the Michi's ride high. In terms of cost-effective purchasing this would have to be one of the best tyres I have fitted to my single speed winter bike. Great durability, reliability and safety. And, the blue side wall makes an eye-catching addition to my single speed unit.
